5.1 system Harman/Kardon HKTS 11
Thread starter CP76 Start date Aug 23, CP76 Standard Member. I turned the sub off at the plug last night and when i came to turn it back on this morning the sub stays in standby mode orange light. Usually when a signal is received the sub activates blue light immediately.Harman Kardon SUB TS7 проиграл битву, но держался до последнего!
I have tried switching the Power On switch on the back of the sub from Auto to On, which should make the sub activate regardless of whether a udacity affiliate is being received however this does not seem to work either. Has anyone had any similar problems or got any ideas what might be happening? If not does anyone have an HK UK technical helpline number. Thanks CP. CP76 said:. In the manual it says this should turn Blue regardless of whether a signal is being received by the Sub.
Moved to Subwoofers. I've tried both of those options Chic, even on the EZSetup i get no sound through the sub. Did you find a solution to this? I have an new setup, but the symptoms are the same. Cheers, Anders.
Storcli esxi I'm facing the same issue. The sub-woofer just simply doesn't stay in on mode blue light for more than a few minutes after its switched on.
It keeps going to standby mode orange light with no output. Please post the solution here in case any of you get it. I'm going to call the Customer Support this week and try my luck. Seijuki Standard Member.Power package.
A new model joins Packard Bell's notebook range. The 15 inch laptop however not only bids a strong processor, but also a strong graphics card with the Nvidia GeForce GTM. This could make the EasyNote TS11 to the perfect all round notebook. But even other clever and useful features are to make the EasyNote TS11 palatable for potential customers. Thus, aside from a social network button there is also USB 3.
The case is an old acquaintance. However, Packard Bell have modified the design a bit. While Acer do not use a high-gloss lidPackard Bell use it again. A pattern underneath the high-gloss finish livens up the lid.
Additionally, a quite elegantly designed Packard Bell logo is on the display's right edge. Alike all high-gloss lids, the EasyNote TS11's lid also has to struggle with smears and fingerprints. Therefore, a cleaning cloth should be part of the basic supplies. The design looks very much like that of the Packard Bell EasyNote LS11 recently in review by us — just that everything's a bit bigger since it's a 17 inch model.
We can't find anything to complain about in the EasyNote TS 11's workmanship. Although Packard Bell exclusively use plastic, it has been well-manufactured. The EasyNote TS11 even scores well in terms of stability. The base unit is very stable. The wrist-rest, the keyboard bezel and the keyboard itself are very stable and hardly yield under pressure. Merely the edge directly above the optical drive isn't quite as stable as the rest. In return, the display can be twisted with little force.
Color falsifications didn't turn up, though. Otherwise, there isn't anything unusual among the interfaces. The rest is more or less the current standard for notebooks of this size and price range.
The power socket and the network socket are placed quite near the front. Therefore, they may get in the way when the according devices are connected. This could get annoying especially for those who use the mouse on the laptop's left. These connections have also been placed quite far front. Merely the 5in1 cardreader is found on the front. There are no interfaces on the rear. If you prefer to link up to the internet via cable, you can do so quickly and without ado thanks to the Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet.
It supports the standard But even if you only want to connect your mobile or a mouse to the notebook, it's possible without additional hardware. The scope of delivery isn't particularly vast. The usual printed instructions are included. Other extras haven't found their way into the box anymore. Only few manufacturers include these nowadays.
Harman Kardon HKTS 11 Any thoughts
The keyboard is a model made in the chiclet design. The single, detached keys are supposed to facilitate typing. The single keys have been given an adequate size of 15x15 millimeters and the gap between the keys is also pleasant. The HKTS 11 is a truly fantastic set of speakers. The quality of the audio is exceptional, and for those that can afford it, it's well worth checking out. Although at first glance, the price seems quite high, especially considering the need for a separate receiver, the system quite comfortably justifies it with its outstanding audio performance.
A high powered sub and excellent levels of definition and clarity throughout the entire audio range make the HKTS one of the best 5.
Audio on the HKTS 11 is excellent. When we saw the Harman Kardon HKTS7B last year, we were highly impressed not only by the sheer power of the system, but by the balanced nature of the audio as well. The HKTS 11 continues this trend sublimely, mixing all elements of the audio — from the most powerful blasts to the most subtle flutters — together into a complex yet well-rounded sound.

A crystal clear and delicately defined treble, even at the highest frequencies, makes classical music or spine-tingling suspense movies come to life, heightened by the surround nature of the speakers. The mid-range is strong and even forceful at times, although it stops short of overpowering the rest of the audio.
Vocals in music are clear and blend in well with the rest of the tune, while guitar and piano based tracks are exceptionally well represented. One of our only complaints was that occasionally, especially with piano-based music, notes were a little too tight, and didn't quite linger for long enough. The bass is definitely one of the most impressive parts of the HKTS 11's performance, however. At a low volume it's fast, clear, and blends with the rest of the audio brilliantly, creating a rich tapestry of sound.
Its power when cranked up is awesome. The 10in driver creates powerful, thumping vibrations and makes watching action-heavy movies an incredible experience. Even at the height of its power, the bass doesn't overpower the mid-range or treble, as many bass-heavy systems do.
We used the Harman Kardon AVR receiver to test the speakers, which allowed us to do so at quite a high level of volume.
Pleasingly, we actually reached the point where we felt we'd be deafened if we went any higher before we encountered any distortion. The one exception to this was the bass, where we did notice some slight distortion with the subwoofer at its highest levels.
As with the HKTS7Bhowever, the sheer power of the sub and the rest of this system is so high that using it at such levels shouldn't be too common in most homes. Wall mounting brackets are included, and no matter how the system is setup, the simple black finish should match almost any living room.
The only calibration inherent to the speakers themselves is the bass level knob located on the back of the subwoofer, which, while slightly difficult to reach, provides much-needed control over the bass' power level.
Overall, the HKTS 11 is one of the best speaker packages we've seen at this price range.
Its sheer power, combined with the amount of clarity and definition that it's capable of instilling into almost any audio, make it clear why this is Harman Kardon's top end package.Deals Amazon deals Bargain threads Classified adverts. Log in Register. Search titles only. Search Advanced search….
I am very limited on positioning it, but I really do want an upgrade now and these are the subs I'm currently looking at. I use it for both music and films. Which out of those 3 subs would be best? The down-side is that I would have to get it on ebay, as I am still 17 and thus can't use the classifieds Thanks for any advice anyone can give!
PSM1 Distinguished Member. The issue you have with your current sub is due to the location and how it is interacting with your room. A new sub in the same location will probably have the same issue. What you are hearing is cancellation and reinforcement of the sound. This is because you must have some sound reflections or a room size that is causing the sound waves to cancel each other out. Do you have a phase switch on the back of the sub?
If so try setting it to a different setting. If this does not solve the issue then you are going to have to try and move the sub.I don't typically see many docks come through the lab as many vendors prefer to put their time into full on external enclosures, but docks still very much have a place in the storage market.
The TSC is a unique docking solution in that SilverStone has cut no corners in designing this solution. At the heart of this platform, they have gone for a full on Gen 2 USB-C connection with the ASMedia offering 10Gbps of performance, making sure any drive you connect gets the full speed benefit of the latest technology. On the outside, this solution comes with a flashy gold exterior no doubt going after MacBook owners wanting to stay with the Apple theme, and to power this unit, a compact external power supply is included.
Compatibility is offered through Windows 7 and above along with OS X Packaging is quite elegant for the TSC. In the center, we have an image of the dock with below we have marketing info in the fine print.
This position could be improved quite easily with the price. So, if you are in the market for a dock, watch that carefully. Out of the few docks I have tested and used personally over the years, I would put the TSC near the top. While I don't particularly care for the color scheme, it is something I can live with since it is more of a copper-gold than a pure yellow gold.
The functionality is superb with both 2. With all of that said, the price is near the top end of the market, and since this unit is really overbuilt with USB 3. It offers Gen 2 USB 3. United States: Find other tech and computer products like this over at Amazon.

Thread starter Paul97 Start date Feb 14, Paul97 Active Member. Cheers Paul. I looked at these prior to getting my current set. Really nice package, never got to hear them but have heard some good things about them Tony. Sorry for the delay, Thank you for your reply, my wife does like the look of these with the high gloss stands "look smart". I have read some customer reports on Amazon. My only problem is I would like to keep my existing SubWoofer and save a little cash that way but I can't seem to find a supplier in the UK who will supply just individual speakers.
It looks like I will have to sell my sub and buy the whole package. Crite Standard Member.
Many Thanks for your reply Crite, can I ask where you got your set from and what price did you get them for. I have decided to buy the complete package and your answer has convinced me to do that, Many thanks again. Can I ask one more thing, is the centre speaker cable connection located in the rear middle or to one side unusual requset but I do have my reasons Thanks Mate top bloke. I bought my set at a shop in Germany as I'm living in Munich for the moment Komplett in Germany had it for less than I paid, but I didn't feel to bad as I picked them up and I managed to negotiate discounted stands.
PM me if you want pics. Thanks Crite I will be mounting the centre speaker onto the centre column of my TV unit and now I know the wire position all is well. Very kind of you to offer pictures but I don't think it will be necessary. Paul97 said:. I am considering buying the HKTS11's and see that you got some a few months ago I've just set up the HKTS11 for my father-in-law and I think they perform very well as well as looking good, particularly the high-gloss stands.
It always helps when trying to persuade the lady of the house that these things dont look ugly but more importantly they do perform very well.ThePackard Bell EasyNote range might not be as front-and-centre as Dell's Inspiron or HP's Pavilion brands, but nevertheless has established itself in our minds as a home for mid-level laptops at budget-level prices. It shares the same floral pattern as other Packard Bell EasyNote laptops. There are also a range of colours to choose from, but the pattern is harder to pick out on the black model than the red or white versions.
The pattern continues on the palm rest inside the laptop, although the keyboard and rest of the chassis is matte black. The keyboard itself is a full-length affair with an additional numerical keypad and a couple of extra hotkeys thrown in.
The chicklet keys are great for typing on and the overall experience is excellent. There are no issues with odd-sized buttons as common keys like Enter, Backspace and Shift are all well-proportioned and where you would expect to find them. The touchpad has the same glossy coating as the lid and palmrest and is a little on the sensitive side, although you can adjust this in Windows. It's not the largest around but the single click button works well. However, in terms of performance, we were impressed at the score this machine posted following our benchmarking tests.
Even though it's the budget choice, this dual-core chip will give you a smooth experience when multitasking. Thanks to a capacious 6GB of RAM we had no problems quickly working around several documents, even with multiple web pages open and music streaming. Graphics are handled by the integrated graphics chip bundled onto the Sandy Bridge CPU and provides a reliable, if basic, experience. You can safely manage older games and a spot of photo editing but beware of anything more demanding.
Connectivity is similar to other laptops at this price point. You can use the There's no doubt that the EasyNote TS11 is a friendly machine. From its decorative pattern, to the social networking hotkey, this seems like a safe choice for a mid-level laptop.
