Our 3 inch dredges offer extreme versatility and are ideal for small to mid-sized dredging projects. The reinforced sluice box features rolled top edges and heavy duty latches for long life and durability as well as a long sluice track adjustment for precise tilt positioning. A large woven wire mesh classifier screen and black rubber ribbed matting at the entry section of the sluice provides for better classification and instant recognition of values.
The combination of miners moss and expanded metal placed under the first half of the riffle section allows for improved fine gold recovery. Marlex Jet Flares increase suction power, diffusing material for more equal distribution into the sluice box. The Jet can be pivoted upward between the floats for ease of maneuvering through extremely shallow water. The pivoting Jet Flare and sluice can be detached from the floats and placed on level ground for use with a power jet or suction nozzle.
The flotation system has been designed with a light frame and the streamlined pontoons are equipped with 3 "stringers" on the bottom that assist in sliding over rocks in shallow water. The floats are also conveniently molded with storage indentures providing a place to set your mask, gloves, tools, or other items. Fully assembled dimensions are 73" x 46" x 13" However, the entire frame has been constructed to separate into two sections for ease of transportation and storage.
The most popular 4 Inch Dredge in the world has all of the features of the larger professional dredges.

This is a clean set up for a A52S with a mini max conversion. He is using PVC pluming to keep water balanced. This is easier than drilling holes in the side of the buckets. What are the options? Love the mini max We are just about done with the riffle section. We came up with some trick pivoting screen with adjustable hight.
We will be adding on the riffle support towers Monday as well. Over 10 different types of riffles should be off to platting on Monday.
Tom Young go big right!! Well I think my pocket game needs to be set to higher standards!! This is a updated picture of the 10" sluice progress in one day. We have over 8 different types size recovery system built into this monster sluice. Tomorrow we should have all the top woven wire screens in and then off to plating. I hope that both pat and I can make it up to nome this summer to see this dredge run. Both of us have numerous invitations to go up and dredge on several different dredges.
I just hope our bodies hold up with our ambitions. Life is a adventure!!!
Both Patrick and I had a dream about 8 years ago to build our own personal bad to the bone 10" dredge for Nome Alaska. Due to the increased business we had to put our dream on hold.Using An Underwater Vacuum For Gold!
However we had invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in tooling molds outboards motors pump and more. So due to space constraints etc we had to sell the remaining parts to one of our customers and now he is going forward with finishing the dredge. These are few pictures of us building the sluice box for the Auric Explorer. We are making a sump system for the back end of this massive sluice box. The Main sluice is 48" wide by 22 feet long.
Are you going to use an upgrade miracle mat in that or just the standard riffles? Miracle mat cleans quicker AND less cons! This is a good video on how to install the legs and screen on the A52S This is a video of friend of mine with a pay dirt bags and some other items for a good cause.Yes, we do ship nationwide. AK, Hawaii and international shipping are are at additional cost and must be calculated prior to ordering.

Join the Gold Fever Prospecting mailing list. After 3 years into this, I'm ready to get my first dredge. Is this worthwhile, or should I just be saving up for a 3 or 4"? Are the nozzles interchangeable? I'm primarily recreational, nothing really production for me, but I understand the amount of material is significantly reduced. That was my biggest fear. I'm mostly interested in something inexpensive to see if I'll put a dredge to use at all, and sinking isn't something I want to do without making sure I'll take advantage of it.
Unfortunately, I also tend to be alone and don't have any help most of the time, so I need something I can cart around and move entirely with one person, if needed. I'm so torn because the price seems right. I figured I can always get a 2" and see if I like it and re-sell it and probably reclaim most of my money spent.
At least it's not a 1. That's cool, living where you can use a dredge. I saw a Gold fever video with Tom Massie and he had to make two trips down to the river. The gas motor looks like it was heavy, a bigger dredge sounds like it's even heavier.
You need three guys to carry the dredge, the motor, and the Beer. Well, I went and did it. I went to see the dredge in person and couldn't control my impulse to buy. Turns out the owner had modified it with Gold Hog mats BONUSand even threw in a bench stand and 3-wheel cart to be able to hike it to the creeks. It is a power jet model, but I'll see what it can do before thinking of upgrading to a suction nozzle setup. I've gotten very mixed information for various people on the capabilities of a 2" dredge, so I'm eager to see for myself.
I've heard I'll only be able to process about a bucket of material per hour from some, and others have said just over a yard of material. Once I go out with it, I'll try and post some pics and results of my testing. First order of business is finding a replacement riser that holds the sluice to the pontoons. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the person that told me a bucket did mean a 5-gallon bucket, but I would think more of a backhoe size bucket should be doable.
If I can do about a yard 3'x3'x3' in an hour or close to it, I think I'll be better off than shoveling. Heck, if I can do more than 10 5-gallon buckets worth of material in a whole day, I'll be better off than my current track record.
I tend to be more social than die-hard. That was a first time out for running a dredge, and I wasn't going after it hard, and had a few issues to work on and bugs to try and solve in the fieldPower Jets tend to lose prime to the pump easier than suction nozzles. For shallow water dredging operations, a suction nozzle is recommended in most cases.
On as smaller unit like this back pack dredge, the suction gain from a power jet is pretty negligible. Delivery info: This back pack gold dredge is in very high demand and subject to unannounced back-order.

The Honda engine doubles the power of the previous models and is much quieter and smoother, produces an unbelievable gallons per minute, and up to feet of head pressure. The sluice box has been engineered for fine gold recovery and easy clean up.
Keene also provides an aluminum frame with grey marlex pontoons. The model backpack dredge comes equipped with a power jet or optional suction nozzle. The power jet is ideal for most deep water conditions and provides the most suction power. For extremely shallow water conditions, a suction nozzle is recommended. If you try to delete a model a second time, or a model that does not exist, you will receive a "404 not found" response. However, if you try to delete a model that is being used at the moment, then BigML. To list all the models, you can use the model base URL. By default, only the 20 most recent models will be returned. You can get your list of models directly in your browser using your own username and API key with the following links.
You can also paginate, filter, and order your models. This is valid for both regression and classification models. Objective Weights: submitting a specific weight for each class in classification models.
Automatic Balancing: setting the balance argument to true to let BigML automatically balance all the classes evenly. Let's see each method in more detail. We can use it as an input to create a model that will use to weight each instance accordingly. In this case, fraudulent transactions will weigh 10 times more than valid transactions in the model building computations. You can just use one of the rows and add the corresponding count as a weight field.
This will reduce the size of your sources enormously. Objective Weights The second method for adding weights only applies to classification models. Each instance will be weighted according to its class weight. This means the example below is equivalent to the example above. If every weight does end up zero (this is possible with sampled datasets), then the resulting model will have a single node with a nil output.
Each instance will be weighted individually according to the weight field's value. Confidence, importance, and pruning calculations also take weights into account. You can create an ensemble just as you would create a model with the following three basic machine learning techniques: bagging, random decision forests, and gradient tree boosting.
Bagging, also known as bootstrap aggregating, is one of the simplest ensemble-based strategies but often outperforms strategies that are more complex.
The basic idea is to use a different random subset of the original dataset for each model in the ensemble. You can read more about bagging here. Random decision forests is the second ensemble-based strategy that BigML provides.
It consists, essentially, in selecting a new random set of the input fields at each split while an individual model is being built instead of considering all the input fields. To create a random decision forest you just need to set the randomize argument to true. You can read more about random decision forests here. Each tree modifies the predictions of the previously grown tree. You must specify the boosting argument in order to apply this technique. You can also list all of your ensembles.
Click here to find more information about weights. Example: 128 description optional String A description of the ensemble up to 8192 characters long. It can contain a rate (default 1), and replacement (default true), and seed parameters.
